September 1, 2015, Kabul — Harakat – Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility Organization and
Integrity Watch Afghanistan (IWA) launched the National Conference of Religious Leaders
(Olama), which was a part of Moving Towards Integrity Project on Tuesday in Kabul.
The Afghanistan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution (ACDR) welcomed more than 120 participants at its Inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. ACDR, based in Kabul, is the first center of its kind in Afghanistan, which provides mediation services, calculation services for commercial disputes in Afghanistan.
Access to finance is a critical barrier to investment and growth for small and medium size businesses in Afghanistan. A major part of this problem is lack of sufficient regulatory and institutional mechanisms and the technical platforms that a modern financial system requires
Kabul, 19 October, 2014 – A one-day conference under the name of Private Sector Priorities for Reform Conference was held on 19th October, 2014, at Intercontinental Hotel, Kabul. The event was jointly organized by Harakat – Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility Organization (AICFO) and Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI).
Kabul, August 2014 – Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) introduced the first group of Afghanistan Building Codes that were developed by financial and technical support of Harakat Investment Climate Facility Organization in a conference held at the Ministerial Palace.
Harakat funded the establishment of a School of Accounting (SoA) within the American University of Afghanistan to train and certify Afghan accountants who will contribute to improving financial reporting and decision-making in both the public and private sector.
Kabul, 6 July 2014 - Harakat – Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility Organization (Harakat) and Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) signedan official agreement in Kabul to launch the Afghanistan Commercial Dispute Resolution Center Project. This program tackles one of the most pressing needs of the private sector: commercial disputes.
